Due to the rising popularity of Chanticleer's former alter ego, Aaron Elvis Prescott aka "The King", famous Americartoon trading card company Topps offered a partnership deal to sell packs of bubble gum and trading cards with Aaron's face on them. "Aaron", now an entirely separate person from Chanticleer and under his own management, leapt at the chance, in no small part due to the fact that bubble gum is both his and Chanticleer's favorite candy. "Aaron" travelled to Toon York City to take some color photos at Topps' studio for advertising.
Here, we see "Aaron" in his iconic red jacket, holding one of the cards and blowing a bubble for a promotional photo. He's managed to get a decent-sized bubble going, and it's a little over 36 inches in diameter now. Talk about "bubblegum pop".
