Meet Quicksand! He’s a Genie Flygon in Garein who works as a construction worker for a living. Just don’t expect him to grant any wishes, Genies don’t actually do that in Garein.
Here’s some stuff to know about Genies in Garein (since there’s hardly anything to talk about Quicksand as an individual):
The whole wish-granter stereotype was mostly based on old fables of a Genie who was so generous and kind-hearted, he was often re-told as being able to grant anyone’s wish with a snap of his fingers.
Genies are innately obsessed with gemstones, fine jewerly, and other expensive items, ESPECIALLY fancy bottles.
They often pride themselves on their bottles and will treat them with upmost care and quality, often decorating them with any spare gemstones they have on them (don’t ask how).
They do in fact sleep in their bottles, and yes, rubbing it will usually wake them up.
They’re able to easily poof into a cloud of colored smoke to maneuver through tight spaces (which is how Quicksand got his job in construction), dodge anything dangerous, or whenever they feel like it.

Here’s a funny thing, this was actually made in ToonBoom as an assignment for one of my classes. Since we had to make a character in ToonBoom based on a pre-existing drawing or something like that. I felt I’d use Quicksand for the assignment and while transferring the image to my phone made it a bit more compressed in file size, I’d still say he looks great!
He was originally a character from a very old rp with my friend  Agent_8.1 that I got permission to draw as one of my ocs. Who I haven’t used or developed since apart from this drawing so he’s going with the Abandoned Crew now.
