Even without the thumbnail, it's got a feeling of a 3D model! 'S an awesome piece, for sure. I think it's the total black background that gives it that feel.

I will have to echo Flynt's comments. When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was a 3D rendering. I would say that your lighing experiments worked and worked really, REALLY well. }:=)
