After watching the original Sandokan movie with the great Kabir Bedi.
The best movies are the first two, the second was the Tiger is still alive..

During '90 there are other two movie but are not the same..
When i will have some times after the exams i will read all the original books.
Sandokan is a classic hero, and he's also anti-imperialist and anti-colonialist.. especially in the first movie there are references to the Vietnam's War and others liberation struggles of the peoples of the Third World against the imperialism..

During the '60 in Italy, but also today, Sandokan was one of the many icons of youth left.. during the demonstrations was common to hear screaming Sandokan or Mompracem.


In the sky there are Malay Kites, used as symbol of victory
