One must always be cautious when traversing the misty wildland. Bandits, monsters and worse lurk the winding forest paths, preying upon the unwary. The wizard Pokheil, is indeed 'worse'. Once a skilled student of the arcane, he sought the First Essence, the fundamental magic from which all things in this world spring. Though none know what he found, his obsession led ultimately to his downfall, turning him into a monster and warping his mind.

Now Pokheil is little more than a puppet to his own out-of-control magics. His body resembles a massive salamander, eyes perpetually fuming with arcane energies. Still wearing the faded robe of his human life, he wanders in an endless hunt for ever more magic to devour. A walking conduit of mutation and wild magic, any who cross his path are doomed to be changed beyond any recognition.

Much as I did with Baap and my old bunny sona, I wanted to do a rework of my old salamancer character Pokheil! This has been the biggest departure yet from the original, but I'm VERY fond of him.
