"Olga formerly known as Penelope was an officer in the police department of Valencia, she began her career as a constable due her traumatic experience during the Anti Slavery riots , her family business was torched to the ground, her father was brutally beaten and become crippled as consequence, her sister and mother were also beaten and raped by the rioters, this experience filled her heart with hatred and disdain of the lower classes of her city and a desire to ensure order at all costs.
Once inside law enforcement Penelope rose fast in rank due her relentless effort, professionalism and most especially her brutality, she had little to no mercy with criminals especially the ones of the poorer districts of the city, the Valencian officers are know by their brutallity and use of excessive force , but Penelope took it to a whole new level, it was said that she was killing at least 3 suspects per week, and her violence was not just towards actual criminals, but their families and associates too, it was commom for her to torture friends of a suspect in order to get more information, and this was her downfall.
During an operation were Penelope's squad were investigating a moonshine smuggler ,one suspect tavern owner was arrested and tortured by Penelope in order to give information, he was later dumped in front of his own tavern with griveous burns on his body and few hours later succumbed to his injuries, it would be just another death in a shanty but this man was no ordinary man, he was a very active community leader beloved by his people and it caused massive unrest on the region,the district went up in flames, a mob of rioters destroyed the police station and many factories and other key pieces of infrastructure were torched.
News of the chaos rose to the noble district and specifically to the ears of the Bankers Guild, fearing the possible escalation of the riots the guild ordered immediate action of the king and in a matter of hours Penelope's entire squad was under arrest, in the following morning they were all hanged in public square, this quenched the thirst for vengence of the rioters and life return to normal,for many that was the end of the story, but not for Penelope...she wake from death few days later in a secret installation in the company of a very friendly witch named Adastria who explained the whole execution was faked and the crown still needed her services, there she received a proposal, she could give her life in service to this misterious organization or take a bullet to the brain and return to the grave.
She didn't hesitate in accepting the opportunity, not for fear of death but for loyalty to the crown and thirst for vengeance, once she accepted the deal she was fully informed of her situation, she was been chosen to work for the Raven Eye , a secret organization created by the Valencian crown to investigate and to protect the commomwhealth against paranormal threats,for this she would need to become a whole new person, her fur was whitened, her hair was cut dyed and straightened, she got biomods implanted to give her superior strength, night vision and overal endurace and by the end renamed as Captain Olga.
Nowadays she leads many secret field operations for the Raven Eye with the same efficiency and brutality she used to do in her time as a constable, what makes her sometimes clash with her partner Adastria who is far more pious and open to non violent solutions." (The Traveler)
