When I started out, I had wanted to try and draw out my typical mech styles, which was the usual big bulky thing with guns. Meh. After starting out I went with more feeling than ideas, sketching out what to me, I thought would be more similar to something from Mechwarrior or ChromeHounds. I started out with the, perhaps a missile pod, portion of the sketch. Which was going to be the head of my original idea. And then worked my way out until I got to the gun. You can see the partial outline of my original idea, but the look of an arm just didn't fit well so I made it into a rifle. The legs are a chassis design from ChromeHounds, much the same as the cockpit. Both in the game serve best for the Sniper type. I liked how this one came out. And I am thinking of drawing more like it with the same idea in mind and same origins. And yes yes, I know Furaffinity is for well, furries? Nothing wrong with a bit of mecha. =p
