I mostly get my idea's from, stuff i've seen on FA or seen in other forms of media like movies, games, tv, etc.

It also helps to have an over blown imagination that sometimes scares me at what surfaces when i get bored.

heh, i actually liked them as well. Though another 'over used' weapon, nothing beats a classic, even if its borderline cliche.

Ah, well just my personal opinion. I tend to make cliche things regardless of what others say, think, or care.

Hey, my character is a fox that wields a Zanpakuto, that may be overused but fuck if I care. So long as the entire thing isn't completely overused (such as a red Sonic character, or sparkledogs) then I think having a few cliche bits in there is fine. Afterall, it's inevitable anyway.

I actually had a Zanpakuto at one point, but don't use it for my character. I don't really make 'game characters' or whatever you'd call them. No fun in having a character if all you have to do is change the color, name, and personality of it.

True. =3 That's why for the most part I stopped considering myself a part of the Sonic fandom. I've only met two people who have original Sonic characters. I have a Sonic fan character too, but I'm choosing not to post it here. Even being associated with the Sonic fandom spells trouble.
I dunno, my character is just kind of there - doesn't have a background that pertains to a game or movie or any association with any game or movie other than the Zanpakuto, which I gave her just for fun. **shrug**

My sona's Zanpakuto was after I saw Renji's but doesn't split apart and only has a sickle tip rather than the little spikes and the bigger spike on the end.

mine's kind of hard to explain. It's a buster sword like Cloud Strife, but not really much like Cloud's sword at all, but...yeah. XD

Ah, well i've made my fair share of buster swords an zanbato's. So everyone is guilty to some degree of mimicing another.

not really. my Master designed the Zanpakuto, I really just specified the wrap and the type of sword, which is really all a buster sword is - just a type of sword. I came up with the name too, Kaisudo.

if i recall correctly my Zanpakuto was Raikiri.
