Just a random pic I made. It’s based on an idea I had for a story a while ago that I quickly abandoned. This was supposed to have a mummy like monster that he was fighting but it just looked bad. I need more practice...

Here's the background story,

Daniel Swift is an international treasure hunter. He lived with his single father who worked as a museum guard. One day while Daniel was playing in the museum after hours gunmen barged in a killed everybody except Daniel who hid behind a statue. The men looked for a gem that was on display but discovered that it was destroyed in the brief gun fight. They leave after setting the museum on fire. Daniel manages to escape before the museum collapses in flames. Now an orphan he's adopted by the wealthy curator of the museum who his father was close friends with. He tells Daniel that the gem was an ancient artifact to a possibly mystical relic and that the men were religious soldiers given the task of capturing or destroying all of history's mystical relics so that thier faith wouldn’t be shaken by people learning of their power. Daniel helps his newly adopted father in several archeological sites while studying. Then one day when he's 17 his father takes him to help with a new discovery in Bolivia. He accidently falls into a tomb that the archeological team had yet to discover. Curios, he ventures deeper into the tomb. Just as he is about to enter the final chamber a knight like monster charges at him. He dodges it and runs for the tomb exit. He manages to find it and returns to the camp only to discover that religious soldiers have raided the camp killing everybody. Daniel manages to sneak into camp and steal a revolver. He spots his adopted father captured. He learns that the soldiers plan to have him lead them into the final chamber of the tomb and set explosives so that the tomb will collapse. Daniel follows them into the tomb ready to rescue his father. They enter the final chamber, as the soldiers set the explosives Daniel sneaks over to his father and cuts the ropes binding him. Just as the two are about to escape the knight monster comes back and started to kill all the soldiers. In the panic Daniel and his father try to escape but the monster stops them and cuts of his father's left arms. They're trapped in the chamber with the explosives set. Daniel manages to wound to wound the monster by rapidly firing all six shots from his revolver at its head. He and his dad run toward the exit with the monster close behind. The explosives go off and dislodge a large boulder in the ceiling. It falls and pins the monster. The two escape as the tomb collapses, its treasure lost forever. Now he's on a never ending quest to find mystical artifacts from the past before the religious soldiers destroy them.
