It might be too late for Mushu to save himself from being a permanent blob, but perhaps with the right diet and the right mindset (and a wish for a gym membership), Long can still escape the allure of letting himself go.
Although that comfy pillowy belly maybe has caused him to reconsider...
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~I finally saw Mulan with some friends... and as a consequence, Mushu got completely stuck in my mind. He was a permanet fixture of my thoughts. He started his indefinite —and likely permanent— stay, rent-free in the Penthouse Suite at the local Holiday TzINN (I'll see myself out).
My attempt to cope with this sudden and very welcome presence was drawing them. It started inocuously enough: merely a sketch. No harm there, right? But one sketch became two... and two became three, and within a week I had fallen into the trap of making a full blown sequence of the little dragon becoming progressively enormous.
So I took the idea and I ran with it. I had been hesitant about trying very big sizes, because I didn't think I had the skills or the knowledge to do it convincingly. And to my surprise, I think I did a decent job!
Anyway, thanks for sharing this adventure with me! I hope you enjoy it!
