Thank you everyone who kept me company on livestream while I worked on this. I should have finished it months ago and the stream was just the motivation I needed to finish.

Every year I do a self portrait image that symbolizes the experiences of the year that just transpired. 2009 was a year where it seemed like everyone had a negative opinion about Everything, and not just towards me. Some people can do nothing but complain and throw stones. Few people actually build and make things.

My sketch was transferred to Bristol board with a light table and inked with colored gelpens. Base colors were done with markers and then blended and smoothed with colored pencils and turpentine with some final touches with a white gelpen.
