I actually really like how this came out- the character sits in with the background loads better than in my previous attempt.

Now I just need to figure out how to shade the white with the colors that I have-

All the rest of the style I'm more or less pleased with, it's Just a matter of trying to remove the warping and learning to get cleaner edges on the background. (like, for instance, working from the back to the front)
