And one more reference for Carol, this time of her typical garb, designed for ease of movement and to show off the goods. We also get to see one of her prized steals, her cloak of unnoticeability. Similar to the Somebody Else's Problem field, it uses magically-augmented bad math to set the cloak's noticeability at a fixed value, then transfer all of it to the inside, leaving the outside unseen.
I also decided that she stole it from the same artifact-guarding order that Cheil Tse Lun belongs to. I don't know, it just seems fitting that a woman named Cheil with a portal-conjuring staff should have someone named Carol as their nemesis. Which is also why I decided to let Carol's kitsune magical ability be conjuring deadly neurotoxin.
