What's weird to me is that we've had grass type starters for awhile and very rarely is "weed" a joke with the new ones. Yet because this one's a cat, i guess, everyone goes "haha weed" for no apparent reason, as if a grass starter is a new thing. Hm.

I'd guess its more his design. He has a lot of details that have a resemblance to a cannabis leaf, instead of something like chickorita, which is clearly a different sort of plant.
