By the beginning November 2016 I have been in the Zoophobia fandom for a month now, have slowly been becoming a furry (without being much aware of the changes I was going through) and was about to publish my first ever furry drawing, which was one of Jack from Zoophobia, congratulating him for his birthday. I adored Jack a lot (and I mean A LOT) and was thinking about creating a fursona, since many others in the fandom had one too. So, on 7th of November 2016, while I was making my way through Tumblr posts like I have been doing for a good few days now I stumbled upon a post that portrayed a design of Jack if he would look like an actual jackal (Post: https://zpredraws.tumblr.com/post/1.....if-you-added-a ) (Parent Post: https://zpredraws.tumblr.com/post/1.....ctually-looked ). Since I was looking for a design idea and liked the idea of making my fursona’s species the same as Jack’s, I did the first and most important step to creating my fursona’s design: downloaded the image, popped it into an image editing app and slapped some blue color onto the orange fur because I like blue. Done. Unfortunately, I never thanked the artist up until a few months ago, because I couldn’t find the post for the longest time. And it honestly was incredibly difficult to find these posts again. I mean have you ever tried to find a specific post on Tumblr with its terrible search function?
