Odytt had one of her clients tell her how getting himself transformed into a riolu hybrid for his young companion made him feel like he was just getting a tattoo. A permanent addition to himself that solidly proved his care and loyalty for a loved one, be it friend, family, or even pet. Odytt, though she was unfamiliar with the concept of tattoos, appreciated the idea that there were folks out where who would go so far as to forever alter their appearance just to make an important someone in their lives happy. It was a nice little thought that helped her feel like her transformation work was really making a positive difference out in the world rather than just her healing and construction capabilities alone.

Pearl, though, was all about the snugs, and didn't care at all about the philosophy behind it.
