Still, it must be admitted that a standard, wooden frame rectangular bed really doesn't suit a noodle-derg's needs... A massive, sunken marble bathtub filled with silken pillows would be much more fitting!

well as a shapeshifter it was just a bad idea to grumpily flop in bed as a massive dragon.... but telling dragons what to do? also not a good idea!

Meh, grumpy dragons just need to be handled with a certain delicacy of touch. Softly brushing their manes/fur, gently polishing their scales, plying them with rare delicacies and sparkling gems... treat a dragon right, and you can get it to purr like a kitten!😉
