Some months back, I had mentioned that I was working on a proposed comic strip (most likely for the Internet), entitled "Extraordinarily Fat Furries" (or "EFF", for short). It's still a work in progress, but I thought I'd share one of my latest (and funniest) gags in the series.
Sometimes, "EFF" will concentrate on a specific overweight animal (like a bear or a wolf), and the advantages and disadvantages of being so unusually fat.
This time, I'd decided to draw a one-panel gag revolving around a male kangaroo. And, in keeping things 'politically correct', this 'boomer' doesn't sport a pouch (unlike the ones drawn in by other anthroartists, who shall remain nameless); but he DOES sport quite a paunch! Unfortunately, all that weight he carries around comes with a very heavy price - which is mostly explained visually in just five poses...
NOTE: My influences for drawing this character came from other kangaroos and their players here in "Fur Affinity" - including 'Oz' by
Oz Kangaroo, 'Roofus' by
Aldi, and 'Donovan Roo' by
Alex Raccoon. =OQ|

Are you referring to my full-color "Gumbo Jumbo" pic http://www.furaffinity.net/full/973553 and its sequel http://www.furaffinity.net/full/2031048 ? Or was it one of the other 'fat elephant' images in my "FA" gallery? Let me know, Paul15042!
Well, if it's what I think you thought it was (my comic strip "EFF: MapQuest"), the version I have in "FA" is in color. Check it out...

Glad you liked it, Aonym123; especially the end!
I had an alternate version of the same comic gag in which, when the fat kangaroo fell, his tail gets shortened and his neck gets elongated! And then, he gets an angry look from a nearby emu - who says, "Are you making fun of me?!" Maybe I'll save that gag for a future edition of "EFF"...

Haha, I can empathize with him there. Whitetail deer are supposed to be bouncy, nimble and light on their feet, but here my fursona is anywhere from chubby to morbidly obese. She'll try to jump, but afterward she has to take a thirty minute rest and eat to get her energy back up. :P
But hey, at least he looked happy before he tried! So now it's just a matter of trying to get his tail stretched back out. ^^

If I had more space in the panel (and the time to draw it), I would've illustrated a prologue image of the fat kangaroo seeing a leaner boomer sitting on his tail with ease - thus inspiring the former to do likewise, as the rest of my comic exemplified. Still, I was glad to visually explain the situation with fewer drawings!
