Highland cows are rather adorable anyway just with how fluffy and shaggy they are, so Hala being a minotaur based on them is rather cute as well as being an interesting design. I imagine with him being so fluffy and cuddly looking it might potentially be a problem for him also being ticklish if you got people tempted to see just how soft he is to the touch and accidentally tickling him.
Hooves can't really help a minotaur either when you've got a feather tickling between them and have ticklish soles. Hopefully the magic gloves will let him go after a while.
