Here we have the army and swat armour on the left, and general policing outfit on the right.
Colours and symbols on uniform differ from ranks and type of outfit.
Such as the red is for the first few ranks of the swat/army
Purple is the next sequence.
higher becomes Blue
highest becomes White or Black depending if they directly serve the high lord or officials (white for that) or highest on the force generally (black) only one per offical, area and the high lord at a time so the numbers of these are lower than the rest.
The metal framing will change colour accordingly to show higher importance.
