"During our state visit, The Sun Queen offered to show a military exercise demonstrating how far her forces had come since the Revolution. It was a fascinating sight, her loyalists proving definitely how they were able to fight so effectively against imperial forces. I had the honour even of a photographic opportunity with two divisions of her armed forces. The Queen had organised such with myself and a veteran of the campaign, but after a little convincing we were joined by one of the "Tlahtoani", the army group that forms the Queen's personal guard and the protectors of the palace district."
"I would not quite say they are comparable to His Majesty's Blood Dragon Guard. But I am told the fellow who joined us in the photograph did serve in the field before being promoted. He was quite proud to have been a hand-picked member of the Queen's royal guard."
So this was a piece i got quite some time ago from the wonderful
SerpentImperius whom has helped me really flesh out Anastasia and her lore, leading to this brief concept of what a modernized Yaualian force would perhaps look like. Of course not quite both feet in the future yet. But to go from obsidian to battlerifle and cotton shirts to webbing and combat rigging is still quite an advance none the less!
