5 strips of wood to make a neckthru neck for my Colt guitar. The colors in this picture are correct, that wood is a nice shade of purple in real life. it is called purpleheart. on the edges we have 3/4 purple heart strips. then 1/2 inch maple strips, and finally dead center, a 1 inch purple heart strip.
