Eventually I'll tell you what the fuck a Gatekeeper is.

This Gatekeeper belongs to Violent J [Insane Clown Posse]. He is the smallest Gatekeeper, towering at an intimidating two inches. He used to have dreadlocks, but after V.J's panic attack, the Gatekeeper reflected the loss by acquiring a spiked-hair style. He is the most protective of his Person, borderline annoying, towards the Wicked Clown, and rarely leaves him alone. Lil' J is loud and fast-talking while being rather hyper when it comes to demeanour, but he is quite the little fighter if need be. I know we're not supposed to pick favourites in life, but he's one of my favourite characters. Oh yeah, he is wearing a normal-sized shirt, but since he's so small, it's huge on him. He also used to wear a reversed baseball cap for years until I retired it.

Originally drawn in 2001, this is the first time I've drawn a Gatekeeper /since/ 2001, so it's a total rehash but I have most of his original design down. It's easy to remember the characters that you love the most.

Number of recorded deaths: 5. 1) Lil' J was stepped on by The Ringmaster while defending V.J 2) Lil' J met the blunt end of a car tire while crossing the street (life is hard when you're only two inches tall!) 3) He was torn apart by some malicious Gatekeepers (introduction to T.J. and Arsenic) and was sent to That Bad Fuckin' Place for a few panic-inducing moments 4) trying to convince Shaggy 2 Dope to stay behind on a mission, the Wicked Clown kicked the Gatekeeper clear across the room and smashed him into a wall. V.J was pissed. 5) I suppose this counts. After falling out of the Dark Carnival stuff, I didn't draw any Gatekeepers ever again, so he died during that time. He's back now, though.
