Our biggest question is.... Does it function still?

Looks like an electric motor in that one. Would have loved that back when I built and flew RC and even control line models. The small gas motors were a pain in the tail to keep running. Perfect starts on the bench at home, wouldn't do a dang thing when you got them to the flying field. Flew model sailplanes for a while, launched those with a long length of surgical rubber tubing and deep see fishing line.
