Since I help playtest the game, I do. Although it uses mainly d20s, it isn't the "D20 System" that WOC/TSR totes but rather its own system.
In a nutshell you are given a target number typically based on your Ability Stat plus your Skill Rank (+/- any modifiers) and try to roll that number or less. Rolling the base number is a critical success. This means your success will depend on your skill and the Ability required on the situation. For example, the Gaming skill uses Luck for random chance, Charisma to Bluff, and Perception to guess if you are being bluffed.
Characters are created starting with a number of "build points" and you pick a race, a background, and then an archetype. Any left over points can be used to buy special abilities and you can take flaws to get a few extra points. The build point system is more like Ars Magica than GURPS so it means it's simple to use compared with the number crunching that some systems have.
Play-wise, the world is less magic and monster driven than most fantasy realms and feels a bit like Harn, Middle Earth, and Ars Magica (except that there are a few furry races kicking around).
One thing that may annoy a few die-hard elf lovers is that elves are not available as a PC race. Here elves are a little too overpowered in this world to be PCs and most are have a nasty disposition to boot (they treat mortals as toys--or lunch).
