When the bake festival is close to ending, Mercury did see an open baking stand and decided to give it a shot as he wanted to try five minutes of fun with baking as he's mostly hired for security. He saw some leftover batter (which Mona shoved Shin into earlier) and baked a small cake for both of them as both are legendary bird guardians, Mercury also knew that Fenyx is wearing Mona 3 and both would enjoy a slice of Shin cake and for some fun, Kimo snuck in a little bit of lax powder as both want to see the birds blush (and get a taste of cake aftermath). Even though Mercury was too late and wouldn't win, Fenyx never turns down cake, and both have a pretty good friendship as Fenyx does give Mona 3 back, but has a habit of balling him up and shoving him down Mercury's diaper as a joke even though the two know each other enough to know what's coming.
