This design was a pretty spur of the moment decision. Emolga... and Simisear..? I thought it would be cute though, while I'm not a terribly huge fan of Simisear I like its ears and colors! And I was in the mood to design another rodent Pokémon design, so this happened! It was sort of inspired by that one Pikachu-like Pokémon in Gold and Silver that was cut, the little fire type! (I don't know it's name, or if it has one) It's recently been brought to my attention that there's actually a ton of new cut Pokémon designs that have surfaced thanks to old game/demo files floating around online! So I may try and draw more inspiration from some of them in the future!
