Seen in the sketch are parts of a type of Aircab seen in the game Final Fantasy IX, or nine for those of you who never studied. front Coweling and prop taken off the left engine for general matinence, as done by the lovely enginnier pictured center. She also happens to both pilot and own this particular Aircab, thus she has a great intrest in keeping it running well.
Engine is a variant on a standard rotorie engine, based off a steam powerd version I have seen online.

Rocader Corporation of the twenty-fifth century had a similar engine using a nitroglycerin paste-fuel system and a swash plate instead of a crack-shaft for the nine cylinder engines.
Unfortunately the Husquevarna Corporation stole their patent in the great tumult of 2679. Later in the restoration period the sole rights reverted to the original inventor's descendants completely bypassing all other claims to the very successful engine design. Triadd Inc was formed only fifty years before the Dark War claimed all of the five galaxies, it is so sad because it was just such a brief period of time to realize profit from the original inventor's line.
Note: the Dark War was also known as the Dark Jihad, it succeeded in decimating all the planets of the known five galaxies 10,000 years ago. History of the Draconis 3, to the original five galaxy confederation.
