I am becoming minecraft addicted.
All I can think about is gathering resources and building tunnels.
My friends are enabling this behaviour. I fear they are addicted too.
My days are filled with stacking pillars, building bridges, burrowing endless caverns. My nights are spent waiting in my refuge, for fear of hearing the familiar hiss of a creeper and perishing with all my hard work crumbling around me. I can hear the undead shambling outside, looking for me.
All I trust is my pickaxe. I think I saw a giant spider in that cavern just now.

I just got into the game myself and have been fairly addicted. I lament that the character can't be modified more and the graphics weren't a tiny bit more advanced where _everything_ wasn't so blocky. :) But it's fun for what it is. I've been pretty scared at times walking around in the dark and a boom pickle sneaks up on me.
Oh yessir, lots of people are doing it.
