I believe he's trying to comment on how the face looks overly two-dimensional, or "flat," because of a seeming lack of depth. I don't think he realizes that the character is drawn over an actual photograph. That effect tends to happen.

I was instantly drawn in, the pose, the expression somewhere between smug and indifferent, the muscles not being overdone, but, TRAGEDY! I felt something was wrong, and after several minutes of being distracted by various lines I realise that the head is a tad small and the left arm is much too big.

I love your grasp of anatomy, but perspective got the best of you here. :<

yeah, now that you mention it I see it too. I can't believe I missed the arm thing... I think I was too distracted by certain things even. I'll have to go back and fix those.

Very sexy anatomy, love the chiseled, smooth torso.
The face is cute, but is the worst part of this pic, the head looks....slightly slanted? Other then that he's quite cute.
