Healing black eye from colliding with another talent (not my fault, he came bursting out of the maze, while i was waiting to go in). SMACK, black eye for me. Haha. I'm better off since it was another talent and not a guest. GODS they are such assholes D8 WOW And I'm better off than another talent, friend of mine, who got nine stitches from colliding with yet another talent in a gas mask (we're in fallout shelter maze at Knotts Halloween Haunt).
And other than getting punched in the back, assaulted by drunk women trying to make out with my mask and huge guys yelling in my ear, I've been unharmed.
But combine this with the bruises on my arms I'm sure looks great to people who see my bf and I on the street. XD "No seriously! I get beat up AT WORK, not at home!"

I am deeply sorry that you have to work at such a place. Two of my friends who worked there told me horror stories of their employee service, and how they were treated worse than the customers who go there.
And at a time like Halloween haunt, it's even worse, because if you even lay a -finger- on anyone causing trouble for you, you're fired. Immediately.
Someone's manhandling you? Oh well. Touch them in self-defense, and you're gone. Yeesh..

It's not too bad... just like any other corporate run place. Plus added on that it's a theme park and they just want the money, haha.
Wish the talent was paid more tho... it's min. wage. Bullshit, but means I have a job for an extra month (after doing props for a few months). Plus, right now, it's a job.

I'm glad it wasn't a customer too, I was about to suggest going berserk mode on an asshole that would punch you in the face. NO job is worth that, your dignity is worth more than a black eye. That being said I'll bet it's hard as hell to see with masks and shite on all the time. Hang in there buddy!
Unfortunately, they usually get away with it. With the exception of hitting you and then going on a drunken rampage.
Typically, they can kick them out for being drunk as hell, but not for hitting us. The security is useless and most of our black outs are doubly so.
