I haven't drawn Juju in this outfit in FOREVER

Guys I'll be honest. Sometimes I feel like I try too hard. For what? I'd rather not say as this is embarrassing enough as it is. Flattery? Maybe... but after seeing another significant artist's character reference by  shizuki http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4285643 I thought "Hey that's kinda neat. A pikachu inspired character."

Because there's already enough direct pikachu girls? I've no clue...

Maybe it was the name Momo.

And once again, in one of those weird moments where it just HIT ME and I had to jump on board in fear I might lose the passion, I got to work and pretty much nonstop worked on it till here I am now. This one was alot of fun to do though. I initially intended it to be just a pencil sketch thing like I've been doing but for some weird reason, I was able to translate it effectively onto digital and I'm pretty happy about that. I seriously thought I wouldn't be using digital for a while longer.

Anyhow.

I tried my best to convery  shizuki's character and I hope I did some justice right... alright let's move on to the story development:

Juju and his younger brother Jini sit idly in a park and while Jini was dressed casually in his typical attire of sleeveless shirt and shorts, Juju was dressed up in a less than extravagant look. Rather than his form-hugging shirts and slack jeans, he was dressed in a rather large, excessively baggy sweater and twice as loose pants which could only be held up by a belt, though the evidence of such an item was hidden beneath all the bundle of Juju's clothing.

"Juju why are you dressed up in that again?" Jini asked.

Juju looked at his brother, sitting next to a portable boombox they'd use to listen to random music they'd loaded up into previously.

"It's fall... time to bundle up." Juju said plainly.

"Yeah but it's still pretty warm here in Sierrace." Jini reminded.

"That's true. But this get up is alot more comfy than it looks. I'm not burning up if that's what you're meaning to ask me." Juju replied.

"Okay... but what's the real reason?" Jini asked, intentionally pressing play as the boombox lit up with life and the first six seconds of Kylie Minogue's "Wow" played: (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4285643).

Juju interrupted by instantly reaching out and hitting the off button, "Please, don't."

Jini frowned seeing his brother act so different, especially with the clothes.

"You haven't worn that outfit in like... since I was 10." Jini minded, pulling the silenced boombox away from Juju and just hugged it while he sat on the ground and looked up at his brother sitting on a bench.

"I know." Juju added.

"So why are you wearing it?" Jini asked.

"I dunno... I guess I wanted to touch base on a part of me since passed." Juju replied.

"What do you mean? Like going back in time?" Jini asked.

"Something sort of like that... I like to call it a social experiment." Juju explained.

"Social experiment? How's that work?" Jini repliedi inquisitively.

"Well.. the last time I wore this outfit it was in a period of time where I was much less... how do I put it..." Juju paused trying to collect the term.

Jini knew what he was going for, as he remembered how his older brother was the last time he had that outfit on and frowned at the thought, "Confident."

Juju looked back at his brother, smiling quaintly and nodded his head once, "Right."

"It's felt like such a long time ago. I can't believe you still have all those clothes and in such good condition!" Jini remarked.

"Yeah I'm kind of surprised they're still in good order too... but I wanted to try it back on to see how it would feel and experience how people interacted with me then, with how I am now." Juju added.

"That sounds weird... why?" Jini asked.

"Like I said, social experiment... particularly, I wanted to see how girls would react." Juju pointed out.

"Like they'd act any differently?" Jini asked, "What were you expecting?"

"Jini, I don't really know, the whole thing is weird and I've no idea why I'm even thinking about it right now." Juju replied.

Jini tilted his body past his older brother, winking his eyes and holding the boombox tight in his hands as he began to stare blankly.

"Jini... what's wrong?" Juju asked, noting the random performance Jini had just exhibited. He watched Jini tilt back into frame with Juju and he leaned in to speak closely to him.

"There's a girl staring at you." Jini whispered to Juju,

"Jini stop messing around." Juju remarked, having none of Jini's cranking.

"Nice weather today isn't it?" A female voice broke between them.

Juju, unaware how long the girl must have been sitting nearby, turned his head slightly to glimpse back at her as she smiled back at him and flipped her tail once, "So why are you all bundled up?"

Juju winked his eyes as he ended up staring back at her and said to himself lowly, "Well I'll be damned..."

Jini leaned in close again and whispered aloud, "That social experiment? I think it's working." And Jini pressed the play button again as another random song exploded from the boombox: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bfi0BAQ9wPY)
