This happened with no exaggeration.
Original Animal Crossing. Planted an orchard of pears in my town. Biff moves in right on top of the growing saplings, destroys them all. Takes forever to get more pears.
Signs were hard to come by at the time but I gathered up all 3 I'd found, made 3 new patterns at the Able Sisters, and strung them out in front of his lawn.
Over the next several weeks we would throw garbage on his lawn, hit him with nets, and send him abusive angry letters threatening his well-being.

I don't think he ever left.
