A Halloween-themed poem I wrote sort of in honor of an old friend. First, let me say that there will be more Halloween, spooky themed poems (and maybe stories) coming soon!! Secondly, this poem was inspired by a song called "Love Me Dead" by Ludo, a song someone important to me once showed me...and I was listening to it today, so I thought of him :] Sorry it's not the best, it's 2:30am and I have class in the afternoon, sooo, hope you enjoy it sortof?
Poem ⓒ Me
Gifted to a certain someone [you should know who you are]
[Must be the sign on my head]
Well what can I say
You're my own personal
-incubus-
My soul's in pieces
You drain me daily
And the best part is?
>you're not even here<
I feel your empty presence
The hole you left behind
A spot of sunshine
Turned to Halloween town
My heart is vacant
Without your laughter
I guess this was my fault after all
Or maybe it was the sign on my head
[Love me dead]
