He was an old stray mutt that I took in because no one wanted him. He had many health issues but lived much longer than expected. I finally had to put him down on 10/16/10. It went perfectly. I gave him extra pain meds and fed him extra canned food. My favorite veterinarian/friend came over with another good friend to help. I rested his head on my lap and pet him and whispered to him as he slipped away. To everyone else, he was nothing special. To me, he was a Good Dog, and I saw him in very happy moments.
