Final prompt for the walk in the woods event over at Thosewhowentmissing

Ozone finds a lonely crow skeleton in the middle of the graveyard. Although this IS a graveyard, you don't often see remains above ground. He was sad for the little guy, nobody even bothered to burry him. The neat little patch of wildflowers found near the body suggested someone had been tending to this site though. He finds a tiny but special looking seed and brings it closer so the gardener won't miss it. He spends the rest of the evening here keeping the crow company, until he falls asleep after his long walk in the woods.

This one was such a struggle, I must have drawn and half-finished 3 different things before I came to this. For some reason I really struggled to try and find an interesting composition and eventually settled on this simple-ish one. Another thing I like about it is that I successfully inked and colored something and did not feel the need to paint over it again. I tend to be really messy and hide all my weaknesses under extra painting but I like that I came to a result that I enjoy by working a little bit cleaner. It took less time too.
