i made this for local ren fairs since i would die of heat stroke in my other costumes. with this design i can be comfortable but retain the anonymity of a costume/character.
the jaw also is fully articulated so i can talk and still be in character.

the wings snap on via rare earth magnets so i can sit in the car with them off and easily get them on by myself. the horns and tail are repainted and modified store boughts, the wings are super thick foamie sheets textured with hot glue and painted, the face is foamie sheets and hot glue and air dry delight paperclay. the top of the muzzle is mesh which REALLY helps keep it from getting stuffy in there!!!

my story when in character at events is i am dragon learning to transform and i am not quite blending in with humans yet. i had great fun with this yesterday at the folsom ren fair and one old man was just tripping when i started to talk and was laughing and having so much fun.

oh and i made the clothing and bag too and modified the belt.

sadly i have no plans to offer this style for commission, this is way too fussy for me to do w/out the person sitting in front of me and impossible to do if i need to match a customer's skin tones (while painting this i realized i am very pink o.O....)
