no song this time!
been in a bit of a rut artistically lately, this is the first thing i've managed to finish in a bit.
on monday, a total of 12 tornadoes touched down in my general area. everyone i know and i are safe, thankfully. but even as the sirens blared and i hid in the bathroom, i barely felt any fear. i didn't feel responsible, as if for once i was protecting the area around me instead of damning everywhere else. it was strange. maybe because i have more control in my life now that i have a job and a source of income to support myself again, that translated into my delusions allowing me more control than ever before.
still wasn't about to go outside and look at the clouds while the sirens sound, but it was nice. to feel like i'm rising through the storms instead of tumbling in their wake. things are looking up for me more and more.
