You guys are given a Victorian era professor and you do nothing with it. For shame...
There is no timeline for PLA but we can assume it's sometime in the 1800s to early 1900s. Pokemon lore wack, embrace headcannons. Either way I thought Professor Laventon would look nice in an alt outfit (maybe for less cold weather?).

The time period for Arceus Legends is very confusing. The clothes shop doesn't help. They sell clothes from "here's a bunch of wrappings" to modern outfits. Beginning of the game leads you to believe that you're helping the first humans learn to trust Pokemon but it turns out that Sinnoh/Hisui is just much slower than the other regions so it makes you guess just how slow and what time period is it exactly?
I dunno if that's really spoiler box worthy but I'm normally playing games like at least a year after their release so I prefer to refrain from any spoilers.

Yeah, I think they dimed down the lore aspects to make it simpler for kids. Mr professor man IS based on a real researcher who traveled to Japan and there are industrial pipes on the Galaxy Headquarters so I assume we're in the industrial age at the very least. Plus portable cameras exist I guess? The game is very fun but thinking about the story details hurts my brain :p
