Ballsy move to call him a "friend" after that little display but...I'm curious what he's thinking

He wants redemption. He's trying to help his former best friend get on his feet in a display he hopes will earn forgiveness. Unfortunately he can't tell anyone the truth of Michael's origins and intentions as, since Michael is psychic, he fears that entrusting his friends with the truth could endanger his family. I didn't want to bog down several pages with nothing but monologue, but I'm thinking about doing a mostly-diolague mini-chapter to fill in some gaps. If there's one thing I've learned from this adventure, is that adapting a written story into a visual one isn't as easy as I thought it'd be lol

I had a buddy that worked as an intern for Marvel before he was hired on by Darkhorse comics.
He said the primary is to find the absolute key points for dialogue. If it's lengthy, have some kind of filler action
(Something not super important but, it helps the narrative move along) so it's not as "droning" as it would seem
