I thank Xedronius for his order, it was very nice to make

Very cool design, although the wrapped part of the grip feels a bit short to me (but I'm a rather bulky fellow with big hands, so probably not the stature this is intended for). Overall it is quite intriguing. I wonder how the weight-distribution of it would be with that adornded crossguard and what appears to be a shortened Ricasso.
thank you for your comment! ^_^
It's a big and bulky sword, so it's pretty heavy.
The realization of the size of the handle and its width is always very delicate, especially on the information they convey about the weight and size of the sword.
For the weight distribution, I wanted to give something light for the crossguard, rather thin wings, but this is the least obvious part.

The width of the handle is perfectly fine if you ask me (so long as it is oval and not round in crossection). It is the length that I pointed out. Because you need a certain length in order to maneuver a blade that big. and having your main hand on a grip that is only partially wrapped may pose a problem - in part by being slippery, but also because the unwrapped section of grip would transmit any impact shock directly into the user's hand - which is uncomfortable at best and wreaks havoc on coordination and fine motor skills at worst.
Yes. A longer handle is always a good idea on swords that big. Doesn't need to be Nodachi-kind-of-long, but at least long enough that the main hand has a decently wrapped area with some wiggle-room for various stances without slipping off the wrapping (a hand-and-a-half length of wraping should do fine. Beyond that, go nuts on the pommel - after all THOSE tended to be highly adorned, because added weight there only improved the balance of the sword as a whole by bringing the point of balance closer to the crossguard.
Prices do vary based on what you are looking for exactly. Practice blades or bladed made for mock-combat are more affordable, costing around 100-400 Euros (or in that ballpark anyway). Sharp weapons on the other hand can range from mid-three-figures all the way to four and potentially five figures, if you are going all out and have - for example - a Japanese swordsmith make a real Katana for you. On top of that come shipping (or pick-up in case of the latter) expenses, and of course customs fees to import the thing into your country. And if you - like happened to me once - get unlucky with your customs officer, they might even try to seize the blade, because they are unfamiliar with the laws pertaining to such items. Fortunately, that guy's superrior happened to come by and informed him about the error he was about to make. Still, importing the thing was expensive.
Indeed. Which is part of why I have gifted away all the wall-hangers I had when I started my collection. Nowadays I only have properly forged steel here. Some for training and mock combat, but also a few sharp ones (one of which I have used for yardwork before, to cut branches for example.)
No, I don't have a particular preference. My collection so far consists of a bearded axe, the viking-style training sword (meaning it has no crossguard), a blunt bastard sword for mock battle/HEMA, a 'Grosses Messer' which is essentially a single-edged two-handed sword although the literal translation would be 'Big Knife', then a Reaver Cleaver from Zombietools - which essentially is a modern representation of a Chinese Dadao with a matte finish that makes it look like something post-apocalyptical and it is crazy durable. I used that thing to chop through branches of wood as thick as your thumb - and in one go no-less.
And the last piece of my collection is a halberd, which I keep in the hallway next to my bedroom door. Just in case someone tries to break into my place, they are in for a sharp and decidedly pointy surprise..
