The 'monster' has been vetted as ok in the eyes of the town priest.

Both are looking for a place to settle down peacefully and these are some important points to adress if they want to in this particular town. :)

I admit... I'm a little salty about the holy water being "useless", but only 'cause I've seen my faith maligned and dismissed for much of my life. I believe in it strongly, so yeah... being told it's false or worthless for supernatural matters is kinda annoying at the least.

Keep in mind, that's just the witch's opinion. The comic itself is mostly neutral about religion, although it won't be shy about discussing it in further episodes. I just try to respect everyone's point of view.

Fair point. Sorry about that. I had to take some time to cool off a bit before I said something rude. Maybe I'm thinking mainly of Stephen King, but it seems a lot of recent fiction and fantasy has made it so the Christian religion is useless in these situations... and often go out of their way to have at least one "Nutjob for Jesus" in the story with no other visible Christians. They don't even have someone shout down their nonsense as heresy and madness. One character's opinion on the Faith becomes the truth for the whole setting, and I'm kinda sick of it.

But that's probably my problem, not yours. Your story is still good. The witch just offends me. =P Not like I'm gonna stop reading, not unless something really throws me off or goes too far. You haven't done that yet. And I still wanna see the happy couple find a home.
