I went to TFF Saturday and whipped up a badge for my Service Dog and I the day before.
To those at the con on Saturday, thank you for being so amazingly respectful of me and Winston both. You put the general public to shame when it comes to him.
You gave us space, kept your questions respectful and non-invasive, didn't distract him from his very important job and we only had one or two problematic interactions all day which is an amazing number compared to when we're just trying to run errands and live our lives around our home town lol.
It was really a breath of fresh air and we will for sure be back next year, hopefully for more of the con than just one day. Thank you so much for helping make Winston's first time working at a convention go so smoothly.
Also to those who attended the Service Dog Education panel, thanks for listening to us and asking questions when we got up to talk after the actual panelist was a no show! The other service dog handlers that were there and I really appreciate you wanting to learn the laws and ethics regarding service dogs!
