After the near incident, both girls took a moment to breathe. Kaitlin apologized for the kiss. It was her wolf that made her do so -- though a part of Kaitlin actually wanted to.

Kyra, however, didn't mind in the slightest.

She liked Kaitlin.

Well, more than "liked".

With that, she pulled the leaf‐headed girl into a hug, with both of them at face level.

Surprised and relieved, she returned the affection, wrapping her arms around Kyra's shoulders. The raven-haired girl cooed at the notion.

Kaitlin smiled as they began to nuzzle. It seemed it wasn't just the beasts within Kaitlin and Kyra that took a liking to each other...
