The dragon-shaped ship lifted off, wobbled for a long while, then fell brutally on the ground, making Hardy flinch.
Lippy and Top Cat came out of it, wobbly.
"Look, man-" began Top Cat.
"Screw it!" barked Lippy. "Stay in that deathtrap if you want, but I'm gonna take one of the saucers, it must be easier to pilot!"
Hardy couldn't help but snigger as his friend climbed in one of the saucers, and indeed managed to get used to the controls quickly and flew off the hangar.
Grumbling, Top Cat went back in the big ship.
Once again, the ship took off and wobbled for a long while, but this time, it stabilized and flew off too.
Now fully alone in the base, Hardy looked at the glowing star on his hand.
He felt the power it gave him.
And more importantly, the power it still held, the power it could grant him even more.
He had kept it blocked until then, more focused on the escape, but now, he could let go of that clamp, let it flow freely.
And so he did.
Immediately, the star shone brighter, and he began growing again.
His extended height stretched even taller, his bulging muscles swelled even bigger, his impossible strength rose even greater...
And as the pleasure he felt amplified even more, the hyena laughed anew...
