The lines are the work of
dreedragon who is the creator of the Azu-Nah, a fictional race featured in an ongoing project of hers that can be found here. http://azu-nah.blogspot.com/ The Azu-Nah project is a blog that details a fictional scientific expedition to their homeworld, with the protagonist working to understand their society and ecology. It's incredibly cool and deeply thought out, definitely worthy of investigation.
A call was put out, http://felineflames.deviantart.com/.....rnal/35577183/ along with the blank lineart used here, http://my.deviantart.com/messages/#/d30ne8s for people to create custom Azu-Nah who might be featured as 'extras' in the project. The idea was too fun to pass up! So here's my contribution.
His name is Duryl. He's friendly and curious, which hardly sets him apart from most Azu-Nah, but does tend to enjoy gentle friendly physical contact more than some. Being of roughly average build and stamina for his race, his role in his tribe isn't particularly specialized. He'll happily adapt to whatever job needs doing, though his coloration does leave him reasonably well-suited for night hunting.
