I swear Furaffinity's upload limit is going to be the death of me. This gorgeous picture is so compressed, and most of the fine detail on the throne is gone, among other things.
The enormous stone doors rumble as the heavy slabs are pulled aside.
The dust is whipped out by a sudden gust, and velvet curtains are pulled back.
Coruscating beams of light sifts through the enormous window, casting the room in a gleaming light.
A snap is heard as a book is clapped shut, and the enormous figure raises from his throne.
An arm folds in front of it's chest, and the figure bows to you.
A deep, baritone voice rumbles out to you.
"You have finally arrived, O heroes... I will enjoy breaking each and every one of you."
A hand is lifted, and demonic claws -snap- together, directing distant music to blare to life.
It builds from a slow tremble, as phantom organs adds the required tones of Gravitas.
The purple dragon lifts from the ground, hovering in the air.
Wings billows outwards, beating slowly for dramatic effects.
Purple glows starts building behind the ruler of this domain.
The End is in sight.
The fabled demon stands before you.
It's time.

Everything precisely in its place. I bet Maduin isn't even up to that page of that book - he was probably busy getting ready, then when it was nearly time for the heroes to arrive, rushed over to his throne, grabbed a book (one he'd read months ago so he could answer questions about it, carefully selected to look sufficiently impressive and sinister) and flicked it open to a page somewhere aesthetically pleasingly centred. Got to give the right impression, after all. <3
