I know I said that I was going to be on hiatus, but it turns out I'm a filthy liar because I forgot that starting tomorrow I'm on spring break lol. Wooo! That means I actually have time for art! I still probably won't be that active just yet but for now I'm taking a hiatus on my hiatus, haha!
Anyway, meet my new character, Aelius! He's a shooting star/luck dragon! I made his design a little too complicated honestly, I prefer having more simple characters so they are easier to animate but whatever, I'll figure it out later lol. This is pretty much their first interaction with each other, I don't think he made a great first impression on her... Maybe that will change? He's one smug dragon, hopefully Noelle knocks him down a peg or two...
(I actually have refs of both him and Noelle but they are way too scuffed to post right now, so you'll have to wait for his full-body design. Whoops!)

Anyway, cute image, awesome character.
The amount of emotion you are able to express through your colors and poses is amazing.

As you say I'm sure I can see Noelle actually slapping him to the ground with her tail XD. Boy that would be a funny sight.
I do love that tiny blush on Noelle for sure. It makes her look cute and adorable. Not that your not already adorable to begin with hahahah.
Also where's that hiatus you mention earlier XD you just kidding yourself I swear

And heh, I get the feeling that there's a bite/breath weapon blast coming right up.
Getting that close to someone and being arrogant like that is just asking for it.
