So... there's a story behind this one. Oh boy is there a story.
So at the last
CanFurence,
Eevachu was the Guest of Honour. Like most cons, CanFurence has 'sponsor' and 'supersponsor' membership levels, where you get a few extra bonuses if you pay more for your membership (which I usually do these days because I have enough money and I like supporting conventions), but they also have a 'Benefactor' level above that. One of the benefits is being invited to a Saturday night multi-course dinner catered by the hotel, and you got to sit and chat with the guest and some of the convention staff. This being Saturday night after the dealer's room was closed for the day, naturally, everybody was just a little bit tired, but especially the guest and staff.
So, the salad course had arrived and we were eating it, and most of us were about halfway through before anyone realized that not all of the little pitchers on the table held milk or cream for the tea or coffee at the end of the meal; some of them had the dressing for the salad. Which we had all been eating dry up until that point. Which set up a bit of 'oh, how silly' giggling from folks, which then spread. If you've ever been in the sort of situation where you're so tired that the silliest of things can seem funny, you have a rough idea of how things went. Not only did everybody lose it for a bit, it got to the point where just mentioning 'salad dressing' would set off fits of giggles again.
So when I asked Eevachu about drawing in the new 'foxes' sketchbook, with no other specific prompting... well, a commemoration of the silliness happened. Because why not?
It really was one of those 'you had to have been there' moments.
(One of the other extras of being a Benefactor was a metallic 'medal', which they've had one of every year. Which is why the fox seems to be wearing a collection of medals around the neck; several of us were.)
(Also, how the heck did I get up to 12 images from Eevachu on FA without having created an artist-specific folder already?)

Once I saw a salad dressing,
My face got radish, my oh my!
But I never harmed an onion,
So why should they make me cry?
(That was a Muppet Show skit with Rowlf on the piano... I don't think that one originally shown in North America, it was one of the little bits they had in the British shows because the British standard for a half-hour TV show was slightly longer than the U.S. standard, and it was on the DVD. Just look up 'I never harmed an onion'.)

"I must insist, here upon wrist,
That I place a vinaigrette blessing,
We have here in the States,
A Tomato Slices-on-Plates,
An Army B-Ranch of Dressing."
