A recently uncovered ancient tapestry reveals a very unique bit of Hisuian lore, where an enigmatic Ronin shrouded in mystery appeared one day and began to terrorize the good people of Hisui with his sinister black blade, its insidious inscription, which historical linguists and philologists have been able translate, reads “Slave-Maker Sword”, giving a very strong indicator of its intended purpose. From some Sinnoh historians, there have been stories passed down of such a warrior who wielded the aforementioned weapon, but the story goes further, stating that the dark Ronin was actually an unholy abomination, a demonic amalgamation of Pokémon and man with skin so smooth, shiny, and elastic, that it could not possibly be of the natural world.

Many innocent souls were said to have fallen victim to the Dark Ronin’s blade, and then seemingly disappeared completely, though it was also told in some tales that the more victims he claimed, mysteriously so did his followers grow in number, and that soon there was an army of Ronin, all said to be dark hybrid abominations of Pokémon and man like their leader, but then what happened next remains a mystery, lost to time as no record, neither spoken or recorded exists today.

Looks like Ricky the Rubber Rocket Rattata is attempting to change history in Ancient Hisui so that Team Rubber Rocket will rule the world in the present. With his Rubber Rocket blade, he can slash into his opponent, leaving them momentarily confused as they don’t suffer any physical wounds, only a black smear where the blade made contact, before panicking as the smear starts spreading rapidly and engulfing more of their bodies until they are completely consumed and encased in Rubber Rocket goop, and are then both reformed and repurposed into Rubber Rocket Ronin, ready to serve Ricky’s army. Will he succeed in his fiendish endeavor, only time will tell?
